TEA Party at the Recess Rallies this Saturday

I hope that everyone will show up Saturday for the nationwide 'Recess Rally'. The Recess Rally is designed to show our representatives that we do not want socialized medicine. Plans are to to rally in front of every Congressman's and Senator's office in the country at high noon.  Here are some local locations:

Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver; Kansas City office,101 w. 31st St, Kansas City, MO, Independence office, 211 W Maple, Independence, MO

Pelosi & Hoyer say we're UN-AMERICAN

Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer say we're "un-American" for raising our voices against this monstrous health care reform. They say members of Congress will discuss with and listen to what their constituents have to say over August, but in September when they return to Congress they WILL pass this legislation (guess they'll "listen" and discuss, then do whatever the h*ll they want).

Do you wanna P-A-R-T-Y ?????

TEA party, that is! Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver will be having a meeting this Saturday, and a representative from Claire McCaskill's office will have a series of meetings.

There will be what they are calling "Kitchen Table Meetings" with a REPRESENTATIVE of Ms. McCaskill (not the senator herself) at the following times and places:

Are YOU Taxed Enough Already?

I'm new to blogging, so please be gentle with me! My name is also my website, so if you've ever been curious about what a TEA party is, or want to learn when and where the next TEA parties will be, then check out www.TeaPartyKC.com  I started the website to try to organize and consolidate the available information about tea parties, because I was having such a hard time personally in finding the information. TEA parties are very much a grassroots thing, so there is somewhat of a lack of organization... I hope to change that!

"It's a Christmas miracle !!!"........truth......coming out of the mouth of an Obama administration member...Joe Biden

........Joe Biden conceded today that the Obama administration “misread” how bad the economy actually was and that now the unemployment rate is “much too high,” The Hill reports. ........(clap...clap......clap)........I do a pretty good job of complaining......I believe we should compliment somebody when they do something good......instead of excuses and "empty promises".......V.P.

Is Obama Legitimate?

"As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States," wrote Scott Easterling in a "to-whom-it-may-concern" letter.
Obama "has absolutely refused to provide to the American public his original birth certificate, as well as other documents which may prove or disprove his eligibility," Easterling wrote. "In fact, he has fought every attempt made by concerned citizens in their effort to force him to do so."

Blue Springs City Council

In watching the Blue Springs City Council meeting the other night, it was quite embarrassing to see Mr. Fowler sit their and question the applicant who is trying to bring additional business to the community and he abstains from voting??? It seems confusing how a council member represents his constiuents by not voting. From the television, it certainly looked staged to me.

Pat Paulsen for President

This is right before he made his 1968 Presidential bid...it's funny!

Questions that my grandkids will ask: national debt

"Many of you have talked about the need to pay down our national debt. I listened, and I agree. We owe it to our children and grandchildren to act now... My plan pays down an unprecedented amount of our national debt." George W. Bush, Feb. 27, 2001.

"Reagan proved deficits don't matter." Dick Cheney, Nov. 15, 2002

"Our projected budget deficits are not 'manageable' without significant changes in 'status quo' programs, policies, processes and operations.... We cannot simply grow our way out of this problem." David Walker, Comptroller GAO, Sep. 18, 2003
