Independence Crime Task Force

The city is having trouble following their own ordinances. On 24th street we again have stop signs with SUR 13 defacing them. Some of the bloggers feel this is something we can not do a thing about. Some feel we should not talk about it because it makes our city look bad. I do not care if you want to call the people who do all this Graffiti and destruction The Little Rascals. We have a Huge Problem Here. Some feel that I am saying Mt Washington Cemetery is not taking care of their Cemetery. That is not my point!

Well Well The Good Old Blogs have worked their magic once again. The City of Independence must LOVE the blogs. It always puts them in such a unique light. I only wish all the readers would join in with us because this is just such a great way to network and to build partnerships. It's so good to see the parks get cleaned up.   xox

 
Voting against this tax is not a vote against law enforcement, we simply can't afford this increase!
Ballot language does not guarantee how this new forever tax of $6 Million will be spent.
City's bad stewardship: The August 4th "Special Election" has cost taxpayers $191,500
Basic services Police, Fire and Streets should be funded first within current $70 Million Annual General Fund Operating Budget.
Honest management never ask for tax increases to pay for basic services unless a city is broke.
