Okay guys, I'm at the end of my rope and it is getting tight here so hopefully someone can help me.  I'm trying to find a way to search military records, but everywhere I have looked is telling me to go to Washington D.C. to the archive bldg.  Let's face it, I'm not flying to Washington D.C. to get a copy of records that I know dang well I can get right here in the state.  The problems are where do I look and can I get them free?  So for all of you people out there that know this info, please let me know!

......I 'm going to post a statement ,  and I am curious what  conclusion the rest of the blogging community draws from this statement............I appreciate anybody who is willing to "take a stand" on what they think............we'll leave it up for a few days to see if I'm the only one who drew the conclusion I did............
 

Is the Examiner a newspaper or a church bulletin? I just read today's (Oct. 30) guest column by Kenneth J. Greening "Let Us be a Christian nation".
The first paragraph ends "...genuine Christians...you can trust them and they live on a higher moral plane than a non-Christian." Really.

With the state of Missouri leading the nation in meth bust. With 4.7 percent of Missouri high school seniors one of every 21 telling they have tried meth at least once. (that came from a federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey.) The voters of Jackson County need to have Jeff Fox's stories from todays Examiner about COMBAT in their hands and heart. Say No to Meth that breeds crime, destroys families and communities. Say yes to prevention and treatment. Say yes to Protecting Communities and Healing Families with voting YES for COMBAT.

My blog is about good news stories.  Kelly Evenson wrote an excellent “good news story” in today’s Examiner.  She spoke about a proposal to construct two new elementary schools in our city.  It is great news for our city to know that elementary schools are filled and that two schools are needed.  Instead of closing schools, we are in need of new elementary schools.
