There are a number of different scenarios that would allow the shooter to have the shot gun in his truck.
If he had it legally and was defending him self, It’s hard to make a case against letting him go free.
The police did release him so I have to believe they had no case against him.
Bet me they don’t want to let a guy go that carries a shotgun in his truck and fires it, if they don’t have to.

Well if the shooter was defending himself, then lockup the person who started it. And unless they had a weapon I don't see how you can defend yourself by shooting someone in a public place. The whole thing is sad and makes me think twice about my family going there to shop.
