Hump Day

The big day will arrive on Wednesday.
Where: Associate Circuit Court, Division 32; Judge Robert L Trout at the Independence Courthouse.
When: Sometime after 1:30 PM.
What's going on?

The arraignment hearing of a Jackson County citizen (Bob WitbolsFeugen) regarding his arrest as a protestor of governmental business and as someone who had filed a complaint of the harassment against certain Legislators.

Deputies arrested the suspect and accused him of assault. The deputy was restraining the citizen and threatening to arrest him if he rentered the legislative meeting. The arresting officer claimed that the citizen violated Legislative policy because he dispalyed a 8 1/2 x 11 inch sign during one of the committee meetings. The protestor voluntarily left the meeting when the deputies said they wanted to talk to him but they claim he resisted arrest went they would not allow him to reenter to room.

The officer filed a complaint with JCSD and prosecutor Jim Kanatzar was also told by Dan Tarwater that he and Legislator Henry Rizzo had witnessed the citizen "shove the deputy as they were walking out of legislative chambers".

The Deputy County Countselor made the final decision but it is not known which statement was basis for arrest and incarceration. After two hours on the ground floor holding cel and kept in handcuffs the entire time, l the protester was taken to county lock up. Bail was set at $4,000 and if convicted he could face up to two years in jail.

Although the protestor did make bail later that day, there were a series of suspicious “clerical errors”, which made posting of bail unusually difficult.

Come and witness for yourselves the workings of a judicial system in Jackson County. Determine first-hand whether politics will influence the proceedings or outcome.

judge trout...

does not, as a rule, let anyone stay in the courtroom that is not DIRECTLY involved in the caes' he hears.
he traditionally goes around the courtroom and asks each one there if they are a witness etc...if not, he will make you leave.

todd

If what you say is true ...

He is violating the civil rights of everyone he asks to leave. The courts are open to the public; Todd Fedo is apparently ignorant of that fact, or you are just spreading rumors so people will not show up to support free speech.

GOOD LUCK....

Bob good luck on your journey to insanity, you will need it.... LOL.... Let me know how it goes???? My daughter is going in for a tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy on Wednesday.

Good Luck

Bob, I'm sorry I can't be there. I support you all the way and I know that doesn't mean much as being there to show it in person does. I had surgery on the 17th and am suppose to not do very much for a few weeks. I am trying my best to stick to that , but it is hard. I went to tonight council meeting, and have to say that it was something else. Any way keep us posted on what happens.

Keystone Keyboards

Maybe I will need to be on my best behavior, so I can earn a library pass and get access to a computer.

City council sounds a whole lot more fun than the County Politics.

Keep on blogging!

WOW....

Impressive Bob, you be on your best behavior is that even close to a possibility!!!! You are too onry to be good, that is why we all love ya.

P's and Q's

You can fool some of the people all the time and all the people, some of the time.
But those fools, are never sure when they have been fooled.
