What's the deal with our Leaders these days? It seems we are continually bombarded with National News stories regarding their infidelity. Even more amazing is the Public's acceptance of such behavior. I have taken part in a few conversations recently on this issue, and I am amazed at the support of such individuals. "I don't care about what he does in his personal life" is always the most common answer. Huh? "What Choo Talkin' Bout Willis?" Remember when integrity was the most important prerequisite as related to Public Service?

Over the past two years I have studied the problem of complacency within the City of Independence organization. Over the last ten months I have presented my concerns to the City Manager and The City Counselor. I provided both of them with overwhelming evidence in support of these concerns. Safety, Security, Frivilous Spending, Ineffective Leadership, and Discrimination were the main areas of concern that were presented to the aforementioned City Leaders. I described how the Culture of Complacency within City leadership had recently cost lives, limbs, and many Taxpayer dollars.
