Mr. Ivie... How about that story on Racism within the City of Independence Organization, and it's condonation by it's Top Brass?!. Your paper goes after mminnoe(who I don't feel is racist BTW). How about going after the people whose salaries we are paying everyday?

He's trying to answer to many positions, I’m sure and keep things above board so I will try to elevate my game and dialogue also…
But I do believe that by NOT discussing race we are ignoring the elephant in the room…

I believe Obama is a very smart and good man who has devoted his life to working to improve his communities…
BUT, I think it the, One Oh S#@%t , wipes out 25 ataboys….
Obama tells us all he will do for us, then on the 10:00 news we see two young black men
shoot two or three people for no reason on 39th & Main…
Harley a day goes by that some one is not shot in KC… we here in Indep are afraid it will spill over here…
I believe it really hurts Obamas trust issues….
I'm not attacking anyone, as I don't make assumptions about others until I have a chance to walk in their shoes, or unless there are adequate FACTS available to give an educated opinion. However, tomorrow the City will be celebrating with an annual Heritage Festival. We take one step forward as related to education regarding our fast changing demographics here in Independence. However, come Monday we take two steps back when we continue to condone racism within taxpayer funded positions. What is worse? The ignorant racist, or their Superiors who continue to ignore or cover-up the problem? I'll go with the latter... BTW, I haven't heard that term Yeoman in awhile. Do you still refer to the "Bathroom" as the "Head" too?!. Be honest... ;)
