The two of them most likely wouldn't know it even if I spelled out their names, as they are so far removed from our reality... That's sad, especially when they are suppose to be looking out for the best interest of our children. Remember, "Is it good for the Children?" More on that later...

I won't agrue with you on that one. I never said it was about me, besides I'm not to good at being egotistic. I have to think of other people first, heck my hubby sent me out with $200 to go shopping for me and I came back with stuff for everyone else. I have one pair of jeans for me and a shirt, but that was it. Great shopper huh!!!

Yeah, it seems us givers are the minority in a World full of takers. Unfortunately, Independence has become a place for many of these "Carpetbaggers" to take root for several years, use us up, spread their decay, and move on. However, some of us are onto them now. You know my theory on these types of selfish individuals? They will go through life taking, taking, taking, using, using, using and then wonder why the room is empty when they are lying on their death beds. Selfish people end up with theirselves...
Yes, we did get our dog back. Thanks to whoever tied him up at Animal Control! A rare example of someone going out of their way for someone else, and showing concern for others. You don't see that much these days. A couple of our "leaders" should take notes. (BTW, the phony photo ops don't count. We may look dumb, but that's just our disguise.)
Those employees at Animal Control are great. They were very friendly and helpful, as they assisted me and then microchipped the dog. It's amazing what they are doing on a shoestring budget. It really illustrates how top heavy our City Budget has become. Frankly, I think we are getting more for our money from our lower paid employees, as opposed to the City's temporary "Carpetbaggers." Seems to me, we should cut out a few of those high level positions, and pass that $$$ on down. Thanks again for your concern, and for providing the right example for your children.
