"Whoever controls the media, controls the mind..." - James Douglas Morrison

This is all pretty funny…
Back in Feb I was encouraging people NOT TO BUY COKE because they were putting on the China Oly’s ..
They had just put a little guy named Chi Hah in jail for four years for doing what I do most days…
find little idiosyncrasies in what the paper and the news and bring it to peoples attention…
I try and use Humor and satire to make points..
Evidently I made one, that got some one upset…
As wise ole man told me once if I can do something to make U mad with out touching U…
There is something wrong with U not me…
So as we’ve all stated the
EX is on its way out, as all printed news…
so as they try and control every word,
they are just hurrying the demise…
free thinkers and speakers will always be way ahead of them…
as some of U have said,
I pretty much went to war 40 years ago for the right to say what I think I ain’t quittin now….
Thanks guys …

We all thank you and the rest of the vets for doing what the rest of us don't have the guts to do. In reality some of us just don't like authority that is why I never went into the military, my daddy told me I would end up in the brig before I ever touched a gun for the fact my legs and hands are my deadliest weapon. That is true! When me and my brothers get into it they always go for my hands and legs to keep them from getting hurt, I always laugh at them for it. What people don't always realize is that you can use anything as a weapon including your words!

Very true... now, check this out!

"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke

and rebel for City Council
we can do it...

Kickin' man, true and honest.....

I thought you'd like that one! haha

"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke

That is so fitting for right now! Where do you come up with these off the wall quotes?

Google :)

You actually pay attention to that crap, wow impressive. Smartass I knew google but I didn't know if you had a particular website or not.

Seriously, there are several people throughout History who I believe have had a good understanding of the "Real" World. Many of the quotes are derived from books I've read. However, with technology it's much easier to type in "Ben Franklin quotes" or "Martin Luther King quotes."

"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." - Ben Franklin

Can't you tell, LOL.....

I love that quote it fits so well and most people would agree, I could name a lot of them off the top of my head including me!

Actually, the first time I saw that quote was on a T-shirt. I thought who is this Ben Franklin Dude? He sounds pretty cool ;)

The first one was Noah;
the churches only like to tell half his story that always bothers me…
U see he built the ark saved the animals and when he landed back on earth,
if U believe the book he planted grape vines and as soon as he could he got drunk…
I always figured he had it coming,
All that time at sea with his family, sons & daughter in laws and his animals…
I know I would have needed a glass of wine…

"No army can stop an idea whose time has come" - Victor Hugo
and also if any of you have seen V For Vendetta the last fight scene when the guy is screaming and shooting V and asking "WHY!? WHY!? Why won't you die?!!!" and V responds with "Because beneath this mask is more than flesh, beneath this mask is an idea, and ideas are bulletproof"....

"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke

"He who abandons the field is beaten..." Victor Hugo

"Well I won't back down. No I won't back down.
You can stand me up at the gates of hell.
But I won't back down..." - Tom Petty

it was 69....
When I came home from Nam we were broke so we decorated our navy housing quan-set hut with posters…
MY favorite was a small mouse, giving the finger to a giant bald eagle that was swooping down on him and the caption was
“ The last great act of defiance”

I heard they fire people from The City Of Independence for giving inanimate objects the finger... Or for questioning management's safety and security complacency (7 years post 911)... Oh well, whatever works, huh?!. As long as "It's Good For The Children..."

“When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.” - Dresden James.

"The glory which is built upon a lie soon becomes a most unpleasant incumbrance. How easy it is to make people believe a lie, and how hard it is to undo that work again..." - Mark Twain

You just keep throwing them out there. What do you do search the web all day for quotes? They are all true though!

No, unfortunately one of my new friends reminded me that I needed to clean out the kid's Turtle tank. That is on the agenda for today. It's long overdue for a cleaning, as is our town ;). Hey, maybe I can recycle some of that Turtle shit your father referred to. From what I've witnessed here lately, there should be a huge demand :)

Always make an impression when you least expect it! I realize a lot of people probably found that saying to be hilarious, but you know your right after all of the shit not only on this blog here lately but with our government it needs to be distributed evenly. We try to keep this blog going and everyone wants to knock it down, without us it is useless.

The author of these two quotes was my daddy

"Never beat down a pitbull when he shall lie down on demand" and "A tub full of turtle shit has more brains than most people." I love my daddy. He well places things and knows when to place them, just like Mike he is also a vet from nam and he lives under his sniper quota. He never made it big on the net, but he has made it huge in my heart! Right now they fit so well in a lot of situations.
