Even last year I was sayin we shouldn’t try and build the Hockey/Skatin rink cause we had bad times ahead…
People couldn’t afford tickets…
I even said GM was in trouble & Trimph and Joker and a few attacked me … sayin we had the Malabooooo so our GM plant was solid as a rock…
OOOps… they are talkin BankRupt…
Now we got a $18million 4 hole in the ground where the skatin rink should be and Peacock can’t sell the bonds to get the $ to finish it, JE Dunn has stopped work, and we haven’t hit bottom yet…
If we had spent even ½ of that Money on the people of Indep., Bus Service, social service, Heck even an Animal Shelter, in the years ahead we could have the best city in the area, one that cares about it’s people….
