What is the Examiners policy on issues "Of a Political Nature' Is it hands off, or is it along the lines of "I know this person so I will endorse and choose this person or voting issue." Just Asking, Steve Curd

Thanks for the question Laharl.
We have a three person editorial board comprised of myself, Jeff Fox and Dale Brendel. All major decisions are discussed and voted on by this board. A majority wins every time. We try to take each issue at face value and do not set a certain agenda for the paper. At a local level, it's the best way to handle political issues.

Thank you, Steve for your honest answer. I am so puzzled about this Proposed Police Service Sales Tax. I would like your help. How about Blogger David Raasch and the City having a question and answer with rebuttles, maybe it could clear the air. Jeff Fox is a good mediator I have heard, and personally I enjoy his writings.
Great idea!
Elisa, thank you! You are such a nice lady! Keep up your good work for the city.
