PAT BARNHARD

I know most bloggers subscribe to the Examainer (printed version).

Today's front page (WEDS)  had Pat Barnhard's untimely death  on the front page.

He was truly one of the most sincere and best ambassadors for the city of Independence in recent years.

He is a gentleman that will truly be missed.   My 2 cents.

......I am sorry for his family's loss......it is a loss to our community as well........none of us have the guarantee of tommorrow.......that is why we should live EACH day.......as if it were our last..........embracing the golden rule with others..........laughing as much as possible........we won't be remembered for "what we have"......our legacy will be "what we did for others"........I think Pat Barnhard epitomized this in the way he lived his life.........he will be missed........

Joe I didn't know the man but I have read all that has been written about him,  Seems as if He was a real assit to the Town. But all I've read and even todays Obit?
I can't find a wordof how this Young life was taken from US?

What did He die of??????????

Yeah, my wife wants to know that too.   Her 401k was managed by him / his office.  That's really all the contact we've had with him... a couple of office visits.

But I did catch his name in the Examiner enough to know that he was VERY, VERY involved in the community!    I would like to thank Pat's family for that.  He was a wonderful resident of Independence!
