I suspect it was hours on a Photoshop machine. The video titled "Second Attempt -Fail" is a more realistic ending. Some of the techos on here can answer this, but how fast would a 200 lb projectile have to be moving at the point of launch, and could that velocity have been achieved as pictured?
..........after studying it again and again , I believe even with oil there wouldn't have been enough slope to get that guy up to the speed at which he appeared.......he looked motorized after 30 feet or so.......like he was actually speeding up from the bottom of intitial slope.........he would maintain speed but not speed up.....unless he had nitrous.........ROFL................as in motorcyle jumping the speed has to be exact at the exit point , as a slight difference translates to a lot of distance.......I suspect it would be nearly impossible to dupicate exact speed with a body weight that shifts on a surface with unequal lubricant distribution...........but who knows?..........now that I think about it , it did look like a long way for a heavy body to travel from such an unmotorized start..........it looked like a motorcyle jump.........we may never know..........

I cannot answer who did the calculation on that, but I do have to ask how many broken bones they got before it was right? That is just screaming wheelchair oops! If I have to guess I would say probably 100 times before it was right, maybe 200 and that isn't counting all the hospital visits on their part........

......that's pretty unbelievable..........my guess is they may be engineering students........they must have used a much larger landing pool till they exacted the landing point , otherwise the one guy would be mighty sore when he sat down...............that's a great post...............

Yeah, I'll get right on that one Eldoggg! I will let my dog run so fast that she just carries me in the air like I'm a cartoon character, since I cannot walk her...... But, yes it is a beautiful day for that!

If you study it closely you can tell where they've clipped it together but it's still fun! I've got nephews that would have tried this.
........speaking of nephews I will send you something REALLY funny from the 4th of July..........
