Once again I got several emails about a spam blog and, as I've been really busy today, I really do appreciate the notices. So, THANK YOU! and the nasty old spammer is blocked and the blog is deleted.

My dad fell and broke his hip a few weeks ago and I feel like my whole life has changed. I've been living with my dad since my mother died in 2001 and, until now, he's always been perfectly capable of not only taking care of himself but me and my daughter too. He cooked, did the grocery shopping, even went to an exercise class 2 or 3 times a week. He's still in rehab and doing great but this is really, really hard for all of us and I was just wondering if any of you have been through this and what were your ups and downs.

I told eldoggg I wouldn't do this but... Yesterday I was at home with a little flu (nothing serious) and checking email and our website when I saw some emails from eldoggg warning me about some things going on on our blogs (I really do appreciate all who do that for me, by the way). So after a few emails back and forth I mentioned that I was at home and sick and our very own eldoggg sent me THE NICEST email back. He's a lot nicer than a lot of people realize. Sorry if I embarrased you eldoggg................. NOT!  =0)

Sorry about the profanity on our site. As you can see it's been removed. But thank you for the phone calls and emails. I will keep a close eye on our site to make sure I catch anything else and please continue to let me know if you see anything.

Just got off the phone with Marjain (Elisa's husband) and she is doing much better and things are looking very positive right now and he wanted all of her friends to know that. Apparently Elisa just collapsed and hit her head in the process yesterday in their shop and was rushed to the hospital. They've already run a battery of tests and are still running more but Elisa is awake and talking and her vitals are good.

Just wanted all of you to know that we are working on the formatting problems with our blog site. Hopefully you'll see some improvement soon. I also wanted you to know that the "EX" does pay attention to your blogs and we appreciate all of your comments and suggestions and yes, even your story leads sometimes. I am our Internet Director so it is my job to check our blogs everyday, but I must admit that it's one of the parts of my job that I enjoy most. Thanks and keep the blogs rollin'!
