Adrianne DeWeese as a community we are very lucky to have a reporter like you. We can all tell this is not just a job to you. You come to the meeting and just blend in with us. When you write your story we can all tell you do your very best to tell the whole story. Thanks for your great efforts. May we all find help for the children and families of Independence. xox

I agree. The stories and coverage is great. You can always count on Adrianne to be there. That is what this community should be about. Everyone coming together as one. And we are getting there slowly but our efforts are working. Keep up the good work Adrianne. We greatly love you for it.
I agree she shows up, but quite often as I have pointed out.... she doesn't prepare ahead of time so what ever they tell Her she prints as TRUTH??? she needs to study a little and know when she is being told a tail???? But she is Young and hopefully she'll learn?????

when she first got elected she said once, "this is a really hard job, when U don't know what Ur doin?" LOL
I busted her for it and we had a great time, well I did???LOL but she has put me on her insiders list I get info and she takes my calls, and as I said she's doin a GOOD job, a real person......
mminnoe, I would refer you to the final paragraphs in the story linked below where in May at a coffeetalk, I asked Rep. Cleaver the tough questions that perhaps I should have asked when he spoke before the chamber in April.

Part of my job as a reporter and as a journalist is to keep public servants accountable for their words. I reported what Emanuel Cleaver said. Again, as I've said before, I would love to interview Henry Paulson and also get his side of the story, but I'm afraid that's not an opportunity that's going to come up tomorrow. I appreciate your feedback on my performance as a reporter, and I plan to keep plugging away at it, even in my young age.
In my opinion, a good reporter reports the story and let's the public make up their mind. A good reporter doesn't tell people what to think or skew the story to one side or the other. Sounds like this is what you did.
My comments are NOT intended to get U to STOP.... but to get U to do a Better Job, Ur doin a job, I would like to see U do a Great job, because then I would enjoy my paper more???? Selfish Yes, but maybe U end up being a better reporter???? Ask "Reporter" we went head to head a few times, and he knows not to bring that weak $hit into the paint???? Not on the front page, if Ur gonna write a story, read it, before U print it? cause we all will after?

well since my job, as it turns out, is bustin chops of people who really have jobs????
I work at as hard as I can, as they screw up?? So I don't see how I can work any harder????
But I'm open to advice????
