......I was curious just exactly WHERE the Examiner fit  in.........nationwide..........in this "announcement melee"........this is what I was able to find............from three sources.........which should satisfy everybody.............one is the  "Free Press" site for statistics on newspapers........the another is an article provided with statistics from "GLAAD".........in 2007............and the last entry is from "State of the Media.org" I believe.................here are the figures.........I will post the sources below.......

......I 'm going to post a statement ,  and I am curious what  conclusion the rest of the blogging community draws from this statement............I appreciate anybody who is willing to "take a stand" on what they think............we'll leave it up for a few days to see if I'm the only one who drew the conclusion I did............
