If we could admit that the Emperor has no clothes….
Then Colonel Mustard &the Clue Crew could start working on the problem.
U see we have a crime wave starting in Indep., that is spilling over from KC.
If we could all admit and accept that…??
then we could organize neighbor hood watch groups we could have parents at bus stops watching out for kids we could have accountability…
But first Col Mustard we have to admit the Emperor is Necked…

When my son was young, my wife or I would watch him and the other kids at the bus stop near our house. That is called taking personal responsibility. What makes you think that the mayor needs to be involved to get parents to take responsibility for thier own kids? Crime is growing all over the country. Mostly as a result of too many kids that have no parental guidance. Kids these days have no respect for anyone. Heck some kid kills his parents once a week somewhere. Until parents put down their crack pipe and get involved this is not going to change. Unless Independence starts catering to a more upscale citizen all we are going to have are crack heads and their kids. All we seem to build here in this town are low income apartments and starter homes. This is just inviting crime to your town when you do this.

I see that, Thank you guys for the coverage people need to be aware of these things.
I can't agree more that the parents need to be responsible!!    I stay with and put my kids on there busses  everyday There are just to many idiots out any more that you can't trust anyone around your kids.

I believe Independence is The NEW KANSAS CITY  and thats why they want to come out east and most the people out this way want no part of it, I believe thats why jc has a 5 acre limit when you buy out here in the rural area.
