Life on the city beat

Hello readers,
Just in case you didn't catch my final business column today, I would like to announce that I am now the city of Independence beat reporter. Toriano has moved up to assistant sports editor, as he wrote several blogs below this one. I will definitely miss my business beat, but I know that I also will stay extremely busy with the city of Independence beat. Thanks to all of you for your readership and participation in our online blogs.

Congrats Adrianne!  GOOD LUCK!!!!

Weezie do Ur self a favor, when U go out to talk to some one,
know the facts abut the store Ur going to ask them about???
Don't let them lie to U to get rid of U? Makes U look dumb?
Do Ur home work, GOOD LUCK! ! !

Nice warm welcome from Mayor Reimal!  I hope you enjoy your new position.  How do you like the hours?

mminnoe, I'm not really too sure what you are referring to. Light My Fire, my hours really aren't changing too significantly with the new beat. I like working a variety of hours at The Examiner – it keeps me on my toes.

How about the art U wrote about Clever where He stood up and said, "NOT one penny, has been spent to bail out a bank" & the City Manager agreed with Him and U printed it with out asking a Question???
Ur the only three people in the City thinks that is a TRUE statement???????
Know enough about Ur interviews that they can't lie to  U.  Ask Questions?
