How many of us out there are sick and tired of hearing about the Larry Johnson situation of where he opened up his mouth too wide and said some things apparently he didn't mean to say after the league fined him $600,000. dollars. and then because of his whinning they took that down to $300,000....Hey chiefs where is your application I would like an application...No i can't play football and really don't care how it's played but for the money he makes I can run some plays, might not be in the right direction but i can run.

Should our laws be changed when it comes to impaired drivers? Maybe if laws were more stiff there would be less repeat offenders.

The city is having trouble following their own ordinances. On 24th street we again have stop signs with SUR 13 defacing them. Some of the bloggers feel this is something we can not do a thing about. Some feel we should not talk about it because it makes our city look bad. I do not care if you want to call the people who do all this Graffiti and destruction The Little Rascals. We have a Huge Problem Here. Some feel that I am saying Mt Washington Cemetery is not taking care of their Cemetery. That is not my point!

I'm putting the posts here about renting here in Independence because the Mt. Washington thread is getting a little skinny on the posts.

Thank you Independence School District voters for voting for the levy increase. Our kids deserve to have a great education. My only hope is that the people getting the jobs to build the new schools and update and improve our other schools as much as possible are INDEPENDENCE RESIDENTS! I know 100% can't be but more of an effort needs to be made.

 Well in all my life I never thought Id be complaining about noise from a cemetery  LOL It has been going all day and still going strong... Loud music and yelling over a loud speaker its a carnival. I was told it is the celebration of the dead????? I respect all cultures but when the don't respect my piece and quiet I get a little testy. Mt washington sure has got on my bad side.
