Bear Attack in Churchill , Manitoba , Canada .
These are pictures of an actual polar bear attack.
The pictures were taken while people watched and could do nothing to stop the attack!
Reports from the local newspaper say that the victim will make a full recovery.

Who should decide if marriage is strictly between a man and a woman? The government? The Church? We have a multitude of religions in the United States. We also have atheists and agnostics. If  the church were to decide who can marry, then where does this leave the atheists and agnostics? If the government decides, then what principles do they base their decision?  If they base their decision on christian values then is this not showing prejudice against the other numerous religions that may find laws based on christianity alone offensive?

I see where Jesse Jackson has said the black Alabama Congressman who voted against the House Health Care Bill can no longer call himself a black man. Does that mean that all the white Congress members who voted for it can no longer be considered white-men? Is this some form of reverse incrimination?

......I was curious just exactly WHERE the Examiner fit  in.........nationwide..........in this "announcement melee"........this is what I was able to find............from three sources.........which should satisfy everybody.............one is the  "Free Press" site for statistics on newspapers........the another is an article provided with statistics from "GLAAD".........in 2007............and the last entry is from "State of the Media.org" I believe.................here are the figures.........I will post the sources below.......

can someone tell me why a teacher can give a 5 year old kid a 4 day iss for not looking at her?

I hear that Rep. Cleaver (D, 5-MO) is introducing legislation to declare one day a week as "No Complaining Day" Has the Congressman considered why the people are complaining and that maybe he should listen? Also, if this is all our Congress has to do maybe they should all come home, get off our payroll and do some useful work for a change.

at this time of thanksgiving??

at thanksgiving time im thankful for the freedoms we have to be able to choose a person to be with that makes us happy...who are we...or the press, to judge?...if god thinks gays are wrong..then he will deal with it when their ticket is punched....lifes to short...and in this world to volitile...live and let live.

About yeserday's blackout. A friend of mine had called me during that time, said a customer of her's car had been broken into . She stated that it had been over 30 min. since they had called it in.I proceded to call myself to find out what the deal was and i was told they were in the middel of a blackout. It was almost 2 hrs. til an officer arrived meanwhil the thievs had the womans credit cards and house keys.
